In April 2022, as part of Dance Ireland Pop Up Dances, Traces Dance Ensemble was given the grant to develop a younger youth ensemble, Traces Og and also to work on a new contemporary dance piece incorporating younger people.
Traces Dance Ensemble is also supported by three dance artists working with them on this project and overseeing new recruits join in the Traces magical experience – Dee Grant , Trish Murphy and Rachel Ni Bhraonain. Together with Traces members they have crafted a wonderful new work around the theme of how the global pandemic affected them as young people with additional needs and how much they what to emerge stronger and better than ever out of the global pandemic.
