Spark – Open Space


Dance & Movement Based Artists are now welcome to access free rehearsal space at the beautiful Dance Studio, Garter Lane Arts Centre, Waterford every Monday throughout the summer.

Spark – Open Space operates in a 4wk. block system with 4 time-slots & always on Mondays at Dance Studio, Garter Lane Arts Centre, Waterford.

If you want to take place in Spark in the next block in September, the next application date is scheduled for wed 2nd Sept.

4 Time – slots are available on Mondays: PLEASE NOTE THESE TIMES ARE REVISED from last year. Access to studio will have strong Covid 19 Protocols in place.

To apply for a timeslot on a Monday, you will need to simply state in an email:

  • Who you are (individuals or duos only & must adhere to social distancing)
  • Contact number/details
  • 2/3 lines about what you wish to use the space for i.e. Creative Time, working towards a performance etc.
  • State a 1st (& a 2nd choice) of time-slot
  • Any other information i.e. why you should be prioritised for space.
Upon being allocated for a space/timeslot, dance artists must also read, sign & return the Garter Lane Co Vid 19 Protocol Forms in advance of starting .
