Art Centre
Garter Lane has as its mission statement to: develop and promote creative activity, and initiating and developing arts activities, particularly in areas that have until now been underdeveloped. Delivery of this Mission Statement is achieved through programming a Multidisciplinary Arts Centre on a year-round basis and partnering with a broad and widely recognised range of cultural and arts providers, organisations and individuals, financial investors including Waterford City & County Council, the Department of Social Protection and the Arts Council. Garter Lane manifests “continued access” through its fully programmed, management and staffing of two venues in the heart of the city combined with continual awareness building of the venue's outputs and engagement opportunities.
