When Waterford was called Vedrafjordr every cord, from sewing thread to ship’s ropes had to be made by hand.
Fingerbraiding is a fun way to turn five loops of wool into a strong and attractive cord which was used to decorate clothes and to prevent fraying.</strong>
Easy to learn and fun to do… come and make your own colourful armband using this ancient method.
